Lawrenceburg Public Library
A clear vision brought to life
When it’s time for renovations, it’s the perfect opportunity to explore ideas for enhancing a space in ways you may not have anticipated. The Lawrenceburg Public Library in Lawrenceburg, IN, was ready to update their traditional arrangement to incorporate more open spaces for community use. The APG team came through with a plethora of seating options, semi-enclosed quiet spaces, as well as enclosed private options.
Their stunning space features a vaulted ceiling that demands attention. The use of Heya booths create space for small groups and individuals to work quietly while still being able to enjoy the atmosphere. Nook huddle pods offer a cozy spot for reading or conversations. High-top team tables provide space for collaboration and room to spread out with library media, while Maars walls were used to create a glass-enclosed reservable meeting space. Completing the installation is Connectrac under-carpet power, the perfect option for providing connectivity without the need for core drilling the floors.
So many varied components make up this completed project, including flooring, movable power, seating, tables, Connectrac, and Engineered Solutions, all of which APG managed and oversaw. The Project Management team worked closely with the Library to ensure proposed solutions integrated with existing HVAC, electrical, and other utilities with minimal disruption while the building remained open to the public.
