A dynamic space for families to feel welcome and focus on healing
APG has enjoyed the privilege of working with Dayton Children's Hospital and Champlin Architecture on a new Patient Tower nearly three years in the making.
This multi-phase project at the forefront of patient care takes growth and future needs into consideration. The use of Herman Miller Action Office 2 workstations throughout, paired with SitOnIt seating, allows for flexible standards for future changes. The ability to reconfigure quickly and easily without the need for structural changes to the space was a primary consideration for all furniture solutions, while maintaining continuity with existing furniture standards.
APG specified, warehoused, and installed all furnishings – including various smaller moves of personnel and departments as part of the relocation process. Project Management and Installation teams worked closely with other trades on site to ensure efficiency for everyone during final buildout and installation. This high level of teamwork resulted in a well-coordinated and streamlined installation with zero punch, and a very impressive result.
