University of Cincinnati: College of Buisness
Fresh Possibilities for the University of Cincinnati
Significant changes have been underway for the campus landscape at the University of Cincinnati. The completion of the Carl H. Lindner Hall in August 2019 marked a new era for the College of Business.
This story state-of-the-art facility includes all the spaces you’d expect on a college campus: administrative and faculty offices, classrooms, lounge areas and gathering space. Students also have the benefit of an Interactive lab equipped with 24 dual workstations, 12 Bloomberg computer terminals, and approximately 104 inches of ticker tape scrolling along the room’s ceiling intended to simulate a trading floor. Innovative ideas such as this help attract new students.
With a growing student population, the need for work and study space becomes a primary concern. Flexible spaces were outfitted with reconfigurable tables and workstations to allow for flexibility and future growth. Choices were made based on price, flexibility, and long-term availability of products.
Working closely with the KZF team, APG developed solutions for all classrooms, providing tables and seating to accommodate a variety of student needs. Designers implemented solutions for storage and wire management for administrative and faculty offices to provide ample space to work, and keep the spaces looking and feeling streamlined.
