Reflections in Celebration of International Women's Month

CEO Connie Goins offers her thoughts as we kick off a month of recognizing the women of APG that we find inspiring.

International Womens Month 2023

We at APG share our workdays with some amazing women. During International Women's Month, we'll be recognizing on LinkedIn some of the ladies we find most inspiring, so make sure you're following us.

To kick things off, we chatted with Connie Goins, owner and CEO of APG, who shared her thoughts on women in the furniture & design industries.

She said,

I am proud that APG is a women-owned company that promotes inclusiveness. Business has changed so much during my career. When I started out, there were limited opportunities for women. Today, although it can always be better, women and minorities are now found in positions of authority throughout organizations.

There are so many professional women who are leading the way for the next generation, like Andi Owen, the CEO of MillerKnoll, who has revolutionized our industry with the consolidation of Herman Miller and Knoll.

I am dedicated to making the path easier for the next generation of leaders at APG. We have so many strong, talented women in our organization. It will be exciting to see how the business landscape changes for them during their career.

Thank you, Connie, for helping grow APG into what it is today. We value your vision to build diverse teams that promote and encourage everyone’s strengths, as well as your determination to craft an interactive space where employees and clients are part of a genuine team.
