ALUR Walls make it possible for office designers to strike the perfect balance between “public places and private spaces.” Movable glass walls fronts allow natural light to enter the space, while high STC rated walls and sound masking helps ensure audible privacy. ALUR glass walls can accommodate a variety of frosted, patterned and graphic window films that help create visual privacy where needed. This flexibility enables creation of separate work zones for concentration and collaboration.
About Alur
Founded in 2005 by Mark Bassil and MD Kim, the company established its headquarters in New Jersey, embarking on a journey of innovation. In 2008, they proudly launched the Alur brand with a frameless, 1/2-inch single-glazed glass wall system, setting a new standard in design excellence. ALUR's commitment to quality was recognized with the prestigious Best of NeoCon Silver award for demountable systems in 2010. By 2014, Alur continued to push boundaries, advancing to fully sealed doors with seals on three sides and the bottom, significantly enhancing sound attenuation.
In 2016, they revolutionized the market with the industry’s first mortise lock designed for frameless glass doors, compatible with mortise cylinders. The journey of innovation continued in 2018 with the introduction of the duo-glazed system, featuring the first double-glazed pocket-style sliding door. In 2019, the Duo system reached new heights, winning the esteemed Best of NeoCon Gold award for demountable systems. As they look to 2024, ALUR has crafted a groundbreaking double-glazed telescoping door system with door seals, exemplifying their unwavering commitment to excellence and progress in the industry.
