Cincinnati: SMPS welcomes Kevin Johnson

APG Cincinnati Vice President of Sales, Kevin Johnson, recently joined Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS). They published a short interview with him for their online newsletter that we have shared below. It's an interesting peek into Kevin's dedication to the business community and the knowledge-sharing that is avaialble through these professional connections.

"Kevin Johnson is Vice President of Sales with APG Office Furnishings and has been a GCSMPS member for just one month—welcome!

What has been the biggest benefit for you, personally or professionally, with being involved with SMPS? Time will tell, but I look forward to developing relationships with others in the AEC community as well as the education opportunities available.

Education plays a major role in SMPS and the success of its members. What's one of the greatest things you've learned? Again, I haven’t gotten the chance to take advantage of many of the education opportunities as I’m a new member, but the education piece was huge factor in joining. I did enjoy hearing what folks learned from the Best of Build Business Conference.

What kind of lasting impact do you hope to have within the industry? I want to be someone that can be counted on to deliver when needed in any circumstance. A partner who is reliable, adds value to the conversation, project, etc., and is trustworthy.

When you’re not working or volunteering, how do you like to spend your free time? Something active with my family. Biking, hiking, any sport. With four kids 8 and under, getting out and about is a must!"
