One NKY Center

In partnership with the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and Corporex, APG stepped up to support the Chamber’s transition into the new OneNKY Center, bringing together multiple organizations that serve the region into a single, modern workplace.

From the outset, our focus was on maximizing value and continuity by thoughtfully integrating existing furniture from their previous location with new product solutions from Herman Miller, Global, SitOnIt, HAY, and NaughtOne. Through a collaborative planning process, the design was fine-tuned to align with their budget & vision, ensuring a cohesive, elevated environment that is ready to support their next chapter.

A key challenge was the building’s unique shape, with limited traditional right angles and a more fluid architectural footprint. We leaned into these features to develop creative layouts to complement the space. Twelve 120-degree workstations integrate harmoniously with the building’s dynamic flow, while a total of nine private offices, and four conference rooms create a balance of focus and collaboration zones. Just as importantly, we identified opportunities to repurpose existing pieces in ways the client hadn’t initially envisioned, helping extend their investment while maintaining a fresh, cohesive aesthetic.

The result is a vibrant, open, and highly functional environment filled with natural light and engaging views. The new space supports a more connected and collaborative way of working, encouraging both planned and spontaneous interaction across teams. Seamlessly blending new and existing elements creates a space that feels familiar while empowering the Chamber team to continue making an impact in the community.
